Ron Bauerle's Sonic Mailing List
Ron's list tends to be more conservitive, he only sends out posts which he has personally read. The list mainly concentrates on the Archie Sonic the Hedgehog comic, and has many of the people from Archie on the list. Because the list is moderated, not all posts will get sent to everyone, but it keeps out the spam.

This newsgroup was originally founded by Quozol, and he used to moderate the posts. These days he rarely moderates it, so sometimes it can get spammy. It mainly concentrates on the comic and the cartoon, but with no-one moderating it there's nothing stopping you talking about the games as well. EFnet IRC Channel: #sonic
IRC is a realtime chatting facility that allows you to talk with other people just by typing on the keyboard, just like using the phone, but many other people are conferencing at the same time. To use this, you will need mIRC, which you can download from http://www.mirc.co.uk. The #sonic channel is on the EFnet network, and you can expect lots of people to be in this channel at prime time. I use the following efnet server: efnet.demon.co.uk on port 6667, which is a UK server (choose one in your country from the list in mIRC) Look out for me, my nick is Sonic_H or SonicHHog.
